Company details

Purpose

This screen gathers your company's identity card: legal name, contact details, legal identifiers, VAT scheme, bank details and logo.

These details are not there merely for reference: they are carried onto the documents you issue — quotations, invoices, delivery notes — which show, in particular, the logo and the bank details. It is therefore one of the first screens to fill in when a workspace is opened.

Who can access this module?

The module is visible to accounts holding the Technical data right, and to every account flagged as an administrator.

Access

  • Menu: Technical data → Company details
  • Address: /donnees-entreprise
  • Screen title: Données d'entreprise

The screen

Unlike the other modules in this chapter, this one shows neither a list nor a window: it is a single form, followed by a card devoted to the logo. There is only one company record per workspace — nothing to create, nothing to delete.

The top bar holds ☰ side menu, 🏠 home, the name of the signed-in account, the language selector and the account menu. There is no search field.

Bank details

FieldDescription
Agence bancaireThe name of the branch.
RIBThe bank account identifier.
SWIFTThe SWIFT/BIC code, for international transfers.
These three fields appear on your invoices

Bank branch, RIB and SWIFT are carried into the bank block of sales invoices. A mistake here ends up on every document sent to customers: proofread them carefully.

Saving your changes

  1. Correct the fields concerned.
  2. Click Enregistrer, below the form.

The green message « Données enregistrées avec succès » appears at the top of the screen.

Always check by reloading the screen

Two behaviours combine here and can lose an entry without the slightest warning.

The success message is unconditional. It appears on every click of Enregistrer, even when nothing was sent or the server refused the change. It is therefore not proof that the value has been saved.

Only entries that already exist are updated. The form compares what you typed with the values loaded when the screen opened, and only sends the differences. If an entry has never been initialised in your workspace — a recent workspace where SWIFT, for example, was never filled in — the value you type is not created, and disappears when the screen reloads.

The habit to adopt: after saving, leave the screen and come back to it. Values that have vanished were not saved; ask support to initialise the missing entries.

Only two fields are genuinely required

Raison Sociale and Régime TVA are checked. The other fields appear as required on screen but can be left empty.

The Uploader une image card, at the bottom of the screen, manages the logo carried onto your documents.

  1. The current logo is shown in the card.
  2. Click Choisir un fichier and select an image.
  3. Click Télécharger le logo.

The button stays inactive until a file is selected. Once the upload has gone through, the card refreshes with the new logo.

32 KB maximum

This is the only constraint that is checked, and it is strict. A heavier file is refused with the message « Le fichier est trop volumineux. La taille maximale autorisée est de 32 Ko ».

32 KB is very little: prepare a compressed logo, at its real display size (a few hundred pixels wide). PNG works well for logos on a transparent background; compressed JPEG allows going lower if needed.

The card keeps showing "Loading image…"?

That is the text displayed as long as no image could be loaded. If your workspace does not have a logo yet, it will stay there — it is not a load in progress. Upload a logo to replace it.

No message confirms the logo upload

The only confirmation is visual: the image on the card must change. If it does not, the upload failed — check the file size, then try again.

Where are these details used?

DocumentWhat is carried over
Sales invoicesThe logo and the bank block (branch, RIB, SWIFT).
QuotationsThe logo and the company header.
Credit notesThe logo and the header.
Delivery notes and purchase ordersThe logo and the header.

Known limitations in this version

  • The message « Données enregistrées avec succès » appears even when nothing was saved.
  • An entry missing from the record cannot be created from this screen: what you type is silently lost.
  • The logo is limited to 32 KB, and its upload produces no confirmation message.
  • The logo card shows « Loading image… » when no logo exists, which suggests a load in progress.
  • Two labels are wrong: Faxe (for Fax) and Registre de commerce web (the word web does not belong there).
  • Every field is marked as required on screen while only Raison Sociale and Régime TVA really are.
