Recurring orders
Purpose
A recurring order is a sales order that repeats: a monthly restock, a service under contract, a periodic delivery. Rather than re-entering the same order at every due date, a template is recorded that serves as the basis for the successive orders.
This screen presents the list of recurring orders for the workspace.
Only deletion works. The creation and editing buttons are present but have no effect — see Known limitations. Recurring orders are therefore fed from outside the web application.
The module is visible to accounts holding the Sales management right. Deletion additionally depends on the Commandes de ventes et récurrents → Edition sub-right, set in Profiles.
Access
- Menu: Sales management → Recurring orders
- Address:
/recurrents - Screen title: Commandes récurrents
The list
The top bar contains ☰ side menu, 🏠 home, the name of the signed-in account, the language selector and the account menu. There is no search field.
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Référence | The reference of the recurring order. |
| Date | The order date, in dd/mm/yyyy format. |
| Client | The customer concerned. |
| Commercial | The salesperson in charge. |
| Etat | How far the order has progressed. |
| Valeur HT | The total excluding tax. |
| TVA | The VAT rate, as a percentage. |
| Action | ✏️ Editer and 🗑️ Supprimer. |
The list shows the first 50 recurring orders, with no pagination controls.
The states
The states are the same as those of sales orders:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| En instance | Order entered, not committed. |
| Confirmée | Firm order. |
| Facturée | The invoice is issued. |
| Expédiée | The goods have gone. |
| Undéfinie | State not recognised. |
Deleting a recurring order
- On the row concerned, click the red 🗑️ Supprimer icon.
- The confirmation request « Êtes-vous sûr de vouloir supprimer cette commande récurrente ? » appears.
- Choose Annuler to give up, or Supprimer to confirm.
The list reloads once the deletion has been carried out.
If the server refuses the deletion, no message is displayed and the row stays in the table. Always check afterwards that the order has indeed disappeared from the list.
Deletion removes the recurring template. The sales orders already generated from it stay in Sales orders, with their invoices and their due dates.
Creating or editing a recurring order
Neither of these two operations is available in this version of the web application:
- the ➕ button at the top of the screen triggers no action;
- the ✏️ Editer icon on a row does nothing either.
To set up a new recurrence or change an existing one, contact support.
An order that repeats can be handled as an ordinary sales order: open the previous one in Sales orders, note its lines, and enter a new one for the next period.
Messages and troubleshooting
| Situation | Message | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Order deleted | No message | Check that the row has indeed disappeared from the list. |
| The row is still there after deletion | No message | The operation failed: try again, then contact support. |
| The ➕ button does nothing | No message | Normal behaviour in this version. |
| The ✏️ Editer icon does nothing | No message | Normal behaviour in this version. |
| An expected recurring order does not appear | — | The list is limited to the first 50 and has no filter. |
| The session has expired | Automatic return to the sign-in screen | Sign in again. |
Known limitations in this version
- The ➕ button has no effect: no creation is possible.
- The ✏️ Editer icon has no effect: no editing is possible.
- No message confirms or denies the deletion.
- The screen has neither search nor pagination, and is limited to the first 50 orders.
- The columns cannot be sorted.
- Two distinct internal states are both displayed as "Undéfinie", with a spelling mistake.
- Nothing indicates the frequency of the recurrence — no column, and no next-due-date indicator.
