Schedule
The Agenda screen can be reached from the menu, but it is not connected to your workspace's data. The calendar it displays contains examples shipped with the calendar library — appointments named "A 3 day event", "Yes", "Noooo", "Yellow", some of them dated March 2023.
No manufacturing order, no appointment and no real data appear in it. Nothing shown concerns your company, and nothing you did in it would be saved.
This page describes the current state of the module; it will be completed when the module goes live.
Intended purpose
The Schedule is meant to become the production planning screen: seeing manufacturing orders laid out over time, spotting workload overlaps and placing launches on a calendar.
As things stand, that function is not available.
Access
- Menu: Production management → Schedule
- Address:
/agenda - Screen title: Agenda, followed by the date displayed
What the screen shows today
The screen presents a day view of a calendar, with time slots and coloured events. You can also see:
- a pink area at the top left containing the word hello — a leftover of development layout;
- the calendar displayed twice, once in the grid and once below it;
- demonstration events unrelated to your business.
Clicking an event produces no visible effect.
No entry is possible in it, no data is saved, and the items displayed reflect nothing real. Any planning done here would be lost.
How to plan in the meantime
With no working schedule, planning relies on the fields already available in the manufacturing orders.
| Need | Where to handle it today |
|---|---|
| Set a production deadline | The Date de livraison field of a launch. |
| Track progress | The État field of a launch: En attente, En préparation, Lancé, Bloqué, Suspendu, Terminé. |
| Report a postponement or a blockage | Move the order to Suspendu or Bloqué, and set out the reason in Observation. |
| See upcoming orders | The Production launches / MOs list and its Date livraison column. |
Since the launch list offers neither sorting by date nor filtering by state, taking the data out by hand — a shared spreadsheet, a wall planner — is often still needed to schedule the week.
Not to be confused with customer appointments
Customer appointments belong to another module, and that one does work: they are viewed from a customer's record, in Customer → Appointments. The production Schedule has no connection with them.
Messages and troubleshooting
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Unknown appointments appear | Normal behaviour: they are the calendar library's examples. |
| My manufacturing orders do not appear | The screen is not connected to the data; see Production launches / MOs. |
| I cannot enter anything | No entry is provided for in this version. |
| The word hello appears at the top of the screen | A leftover of development layout, with no consequence. |
| Clicking an event does nothing | Normal behaviour in this version. |
Known limitations in this version
- The calendar displays demonstration data hard-coded into the page, with no call at all to the workspace's data.
- No manufacturing order is represented.
- No entry, creation or moving of an event is possible.
- The calendar is displayed twice.
- A development area containing the word hello is still visible.
- Only the day view exists: no weekly view and no monthly view.
